Application: Advocacy for CSOs in times of uncertainty

This is a unique opportunity for CSOs to build practical advocacy skills, exchange experience across countries, and join a regional network of changemakers.   Center for Policies and Reforms (Moldova), NGO Center (Armenia), and RPR Coalition (Ukraine) are launching a call for applicants for the regional project “Advocacy for CSOs in times of uncertainty.”

The project supports civil society organizations in strengthening advocacy, public participation, and policy dialogue skills, in response to current challenges such as shrinking civic space, political polarization, and declining trust in democratic institutions.

Participants will take part in online trainings and peer-to-peer exchanges, with a selection of participants invited to a 2-day advocacy school in Moldova focused on resilience, advocacy skills, and regional cooperation.

Up to 15 organizations per country will be selected to participate in project activities, of which 2 representatives per country will be invited to the 2-day Advocacy School in Moldova.

Who can apply?

We invite representatives of CSOs, grassroots initiatives, and civic groups who:

  • Have relevant experience (ideally 3+ years)

  • Work in areas such as advocacy, public policy, governance, civic engagement, or community development

  • Are based in Moldova, Armenia, or Ukraine

  • Are available for online sessions and the advocacy school

  • Are interested in peer learning and regional collaboration

We especially encourage applications from smaller or underrepresented organizations.
