Dialogue4Influence: Strengthening Civil Society Participation and Influence in Public Policymaking

Overall Objective

The overall objective of the project is to strengthen the public influence of civil society in Armenia by expanding and diversifying opportunities for state funding and advancing participatory governance mechanisms, while ensuring the systematic engagement of civil society organizations (CSOs) in public policymaking, policy monitoring, and the assessment of public service quality.

Specific Objective 1

To contribute to improving the financial sustainability of CSOs through the expansion of policy and legal mechanisms for state funding and support for public benefit activities.

Specific Objective 2

To establish and institutionalize multi-stakeholder dialogue platforms, such as CSO4Progress or other effective formats, to ensure the participation of CSOs, state institutions, local self-government bodies, and other stakeholders in collaborative public policymaking processes.

Specific Objective 3

To increase public oversight and the practical application of participatory governance through the monitoring of public service delivery and state funding processes.

 

 

 

The “Dialogue4Influence: Strengthening Civil Society Participation and Influence in Public Policymaking” project is implemented by the “NGO Center” Civil Society Development NGO within the framework of the EU-funded “Sustainable, Impactful and Inclusive Civil Society” (SIICS) Project. The project is implemented by the Democracy Development Foundation (DDF), People in Need (PIN), and the Boon Cultural-Scientific Foundation. It aims to strengthen the role of civil society in Armenia as a resilient, independent, and trusted actor in democratic governance, policy development, and community empowerment.
