Dialogue for Progress: Open Government Week
As we mark the 15th anniversary of the Open Government Partnership (OGP), the “NGO Center” Civil Society Development NGO and the Office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia are organizing a study visit and dialogue forum for community-based civil society representatives. This initiative is held within the framework of Global Open Gov Week and is scheduled for May 22 of this year.
The primary goal of this event is to introduce community-based NGO representatives to the reforms being implemented under the OGP umbrella and to the specific activities of the Department for Participatory and Open Government within the Prime Minister’s Office. Since this department is responsible for developing government-public dialogue mechanisms and serves as the OGP National Coordinator, this meeting offers a unique opportunity to discuss proven models of participatory governance and social contracting that drive sustainable community development.
