{"id":5540,"date":"2025-05-29T14:14:50","date_gmt":"2025-05-29T14:14:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ngoc.am\/?p=5540"},"modified":"2025-08-29T14:16:36","modified_gmt":"2025-08-29T14:16:36","slug":"desire-tud","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ngoc.am\/en\/desire-tud\/","title":{"rendered":"Trainings for Youth, Teachers and CSO representatives Based on TUD Dresden University of Technology Training Materials"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span class=\"x3jgonx\">In May 2025, the \u201cNGO Center\u201d Civil Society Development NGO organized a series of in-house multiplication trainings within the framework of the \u201c<a title=\"DeSIRe: Development of Soft Skills at Higher Education Institutions of Armenia and Georgia in Compliance with the 21st Century Labour Market Requirements\" href=\"https:\/\/ngoc.am\/en\/programs\/desire\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">DeSIRe\u201d project<\/a>.<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"x3jgonx\">The purpose of the trainings was to develop the soft skills of young people, teachers, and civil society representatives, which are essential for the modern labor market and community development.<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"x3jgonx\">The sessions were facilitated by experienced professionals Arpine Hakobyan and Syuzan Hovsepyan.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span class=\"x3jgonx\">The trainings covered four main thematic areas:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span class=\"x3jgonx\">Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (Module 2)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"x3jgonx\">Essential Entrepreneurial Skills: Initiative and Proactivity (Module 3)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"x3jgonx\">Effective Business Communication and Negotiation Skills (MOOC 1)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"x3jgonx\">Understanding and Developing Organizational Culture (MOOC 2)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span class=\"x3jgonx\">Over the course of four days, eight interactive sessions were held with the participation of more than 200 participants. The trainings combined theoretical knowledge with practical exercises, group discussions, and role-playing activities, ensuring immediate applicability.<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"x3jgonx\">Participants acquired essential skills for creating inclusive environments, effective communication and negotiation, as well as competencies in developing organizational culture and addressing community challenges through social entrepreneurship.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"x3jgonx\">The sessions employed non-formal education methods such as interactive presentations, group work, practical exercises, and the study of international best practices.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"x3jgonx\">Participants emphasized that the trainings not only enhanced their knowledge but also provided tools they are ready to apply in their work, studies, and community activities. Many expressed their willingness to initiate social entrepreneurship projects and inclusive education initiatives.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<p><em><span class=\"x3jgonx\">The EU ERASMUS+ CBHE project &#8220;Developing Soft Skills in Higher Education to Increase Employability in the 21st Century Labor Market in Armenia and Georgia&#8221; (DeSIRe) is led by Vanadzor State University named after H.
