The module was developed by the \u201cNGO Center\u201d Civil Society Development NGO within the framework of the EU co-funded \u201cSTRIVE\u201d project.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The memoranda were signed between NEF Belgium, NGO Center, and the following educational institutions:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Yerevan State University<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Armenian National Agrarian University<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Eurasia International University<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Goris State University<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Vardenis Medical-Humanitarian College<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Berd Multifunctional College<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">During the event, Bruno Montariol,\u00a0 EU Project Manager, delivered a speech emphasizing the European Union\u2019s commitment to the development of the education sector in Armenia. He highlighted that the EU encourages the participation of educational institutions in such initiatives aimed at improving the quality of education and promoting sectoral reforms.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Arpine Hakobyan, President of NGO Center, stated that the signed memoranda reflect the readiness and vision of educational institutions to incorporate civil society education into the academic process.\u201cWe believe this will help shape responsible, engaged, and active citizens,\u201d she added.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Arpine Baghdoyan, Country Director of the NEF Armenia branch and Head of the \u201cSTRIVE\u201d project, emphasized in her speech:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cYour educational institutions are the cornerstone of ensuring the long-term sustainability of this component. We are hopeful that more institutions will join this initiative.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Currently, the participating universities and colleges are in the process of approving their academic curricula, and it is expected that the \u201cCivil Society\u201d module will be taught to students starting from September 2025<\/span><b>.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It\u2019s worth noting that a cooperation memorandum was previously signed with Vanadzor State University<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">as well, expanding the network of academic institutions committed to civil society education.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The educational module developed within the framework of the EU co-funded STRIVE project aims to raise students\u2019 awareness of the role, functions, and development paths of civil society.
