A meeting was held at Vanadzor State University (VSU) to discuss the prospects of implementing the “Civil Society” academic education module. The meeting was attended by the university\u2019s Rector, Rustam Sahakyan, Vice-Rector Varduhi Hovsepyan, and representatives of the NGO Center.<\/p>\n
The NGO Center\u2019s Grants Manager, Syuzan Hovsepyan, presented the main objectives of the module and its significance for academic programs in higher education institutions. She emphasized that the module aims to equip young people with the knowledge, skills, and values necessary to become active and responsible citizens.<\/p>\n
The structure of the module and its integration opportunities within universities were outlined by the head of the expert group, Harutyun Vermishyan.<\/p>\n
During the discussions, the participants also explored opportunities for collaboration in the development and implementation of the module. The NGO Center expressed its readiness to provide expert support to ensure the effective realization of the module at VSU.<\/p>\n
This meeting marked another important step toward advancing civic education and introducing innovative educational programs in higher education institutions in Armenia.<\/p>\n
