{"id":4800,"date":"2024-06-04T17:14:48","date_gmt":"2024-06-04T17:14:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ngoc.am\/?p=4800"},"modified":"2024-06-04T17:14:48","modified_gmt":"2024-06-04T17:14:48","slug":"csos4sldvanadzor-riund-table","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ngoc.am\/en\/csos4sldvanadzor-riund-table\/","title":{"rendered":"Meeting on community-based cooperation with the participation of about 50 representatives of CSOs and Vanadzor municipality"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On June 5, in the meeting hall of the Vanadzor municipality, the meeting organized within the framework of the #<a title=\"#CSOs4SLD: CSOs for sustainable local development\" href=\"https:\/\/ngoc.am\/en\/programs\/csos4sld\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">#CSOs4SLD: CSOs for sustainable local development<\/a> project on the topic of &#8220;Community cooperation and open governance partnership&#8221; took place.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">About 50 representatives of CSOs operating in different communities and Vanadzor Municipality\u2019s staff participated in the meeting.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hayk Virabyan, the secretary of the Vanadzor municipal administration, Arman Bernetsyan, an adviser to the head of the Vanadzor community, and Arpine Hakobyan, the president of \u00a0&#8220;NGO Center&#8221; CSD NGO, made welcome speeches at the event.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Suren Abovyan, the chief architect of the Vanadzor community, and Arbak Sargsyan, the program coordinator of the &#8220;Direct Democracy&#8221; NGO, spoke about collaborative monitoring of community issues. They mentioned joint visits to the construction facilities renovated with subsidy programs.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lilya Davtyan, the head of the Vanadzor community development programs, external relations, and information technology department, presented the positive experience of cooperation within the framework of community-based initiatives and open governance partnership. Ani Gabrielyan, the president of the &#8220;Lusastgh&#8221; NGO, and Arpine Hakobyan, the president of the &#8220;NGO Center&#8221; NGO, made speeches on the topic.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">During the meeting, the participating CSO representatives shared their experiences of working with local self-government bodies in their communities and asked questions to the representatives of the municipality.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>\u201cCSOs4SLD. CSOs for sustainable local development\u201d project is implemented by \u201cNGO Center\u201d Civil Society Development NGO.
