{"id":4584,"date":"2023-11-30T07:22:21","date_gmt":"2023-11-30T07:22:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ngoc.am\/?p=4584"},"modified":"2023-11-30T07:22:21","modified_gmt":"2023-11-30T07:22:21","slug":"the-presentation-of-the-citizenship-index-research-took-place","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ngoc.am\/en\/the-presentation-of-the-citizenship-index-research-took-place\/","title":{"rendered":"The presentation of the &#8220;Citizenship Index&#8221; research took place"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong><em>The Citizenship Index baseline research takes a picture of the \u201c<\/em><\/strong><a href=\"bookmark:\/\/_INTRODUCTION\"><strong><em>sense of citizenship<\/em><\/strong><\/a><strong><em>\u201d in Akhuryan community. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em>We interpret the \u201csense of citizenship\u201d as a mixture of feelings and social norms that shape the sense of belonging to the community, the sense of responsibility to its well-functioning and future development, the trustfulness and the trustworthiness towards the community members and its institutions as pre-conditions for cooperation.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On November 27, the presentation of the results of &#8220;Citizenship Index&#8221; baseline research carried out within the framework of the \u201cCapSLoc\u2024 Capacities for sustained locally-led development\u201d project took place in Akhuryan community, Vahramaberd settlement.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At the beginning of the event, Arpine Hakobyan, the president of NGO Center, gave a speech of welcome, andhighlighted the importance of the implementation and discussion of the index with the community research and local self-government representatives.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Presenting the research results, Hasmik Tamamyan, the head of the research team, noted that the meeting is a good opportunity to jointly talk about the perceptions of the sense of citizenship in a broad context, with the example of Akhuryan community.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The representative of the Local Government Policy Department of the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures, Yeghiazar Davtyan, the head of Akhuryan Community, Zaven Manukyan, representatives of research organizations and local government bodies operating in RA participated in the event.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>\u201cCapSLoc: Capacities for Sustained Locally-Led Development\u201d project is supported by the American people through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>\u201cCapSLoc: Capacities for Sustained Locally-Led Development\u201d project is implemented by \u201cNGO Center\u201d civil society development NGO, in cooperation with Urban Foundation, \u201cWomen for Development\u201d NGO, \u201cArmenian Caritas\u201d benevolent NGO and \u201cCompass\u201d scientific-research, education and consulting center\u201d NGO.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Citizenship Index baseline research takes a picture of the \u201csense of citizenship\u201d in Akhuryan community.
