Hermine Gasparyan

Hermine Gasparyan is a development professional with over 15 years of experience working with local and international organizations in the fields of community development, institutional capacity building of CSOs, and the empowerment of women and youth. Her professional background includes leading teams and holding senior positions, including serving as Head of the Department of Development Programs, Tourism and Analysis at the Lori Regional Administration, as well as managing various programs such as Armenian Caritas’ “Home Care for the Elderly” and leading short-term election observation mission.

Throughout her career, she has collaborated with and provided expert services to a number of organizations, including the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), the Prague Civil Society Centre, Oxygen Foundation, Children of Armenia Fund (COAF), among others. Since 2021, she has been engaged as a local consultant with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).

Hermine holds a Master’s degree in Education Management. She delivers trainings, provides consulting and coaching on a wide range of topics such as Needs assessment, Strategic planning, Project design and management, Community mobilization, Communication and cooperation, Media literacy, Election observation, and more. She is also the author of several research papers, assessments, development strategies, and articles.

From 2011 to 2018, she worked at the NGO Center, coordinating and leading various programs, and since 2017, she has been a member of the organization. In 2025, she rejoined the NGO Center team to lead new important initiatives.
