Model Armenia

The aim of the “Model Armenia” project is to empower youth by providing them with a unique opportunity to get acquainted with and personally participate in governance and decision-making processes through a special educational methodology. This project equips young people with valuable knowledge and skills that will enable them to actively participate in shaping the future of their country.

Project Activities:

  • Creation of the “Model Armenia” simulation educational game
  • Launch of the “Model Armenia” simulation educational game in 6 regions of Armenia
  • Study visits to public administration bodies of Armenia
  • Implementation of the “Model Armenia” national game

Participants of the “Model Armenia” simulation game will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the governance system of Armenia, the three branches of government (executive, legislative and judicial), as well as the media and civil society organizations (NGOs).

 

“Model Armenia” is implementing by “NGO Center” civil society development NGO within the framework of “Youth in Action. Youth Empowerment and Leadership Development in Armenia” Project.

Project is a co-funded initiative by the European Union and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation (KAS) implemented together with the World Vision Armenia (WVA), Media Initiatives Center (MIC), and Gyumri “Youth Initiatives Centre” (YIC).
