The main goal of the project is to enhance the legal awareness of regional youth and first-time voters regarding electoral rights through the use of innovative educational approaches (educational game).
Specific Objectives;
- To increase the knowledge of at least 30 first-time voters from Lori region on electoral rights.
- To raise the awareness of at least 400 first-time voters, about their electoral rights through alternative educational methods.
- To increase public awareness through the implementation of a media campaign.
“First-time voter ambassadors” project is implemented by the “NGO Center” Civil Society Development NGO within the framework of the regional project “ProElect – Promote accountability in Electoral processes in EaP through increased participation and capacity of civic actors”.
“ProElect – Promote accountability in Electoral processes in EaP through increased participation and capacity of civic actors” is a regional project run by the Transatlantic Foundation in partnership with ERIM (Equal Rights and Independent Media) and funded by the European Union. The project aims to ensure that civil society actors in the Eastern Neighbourhood are engaged, capable and knowledgeable in monitoring elections and promoting democratic accountability mechanisms.
