Budget Analysis in the Social Sector

“NGO Center” Civil Society Development non-governmental organization is implementing the “Budget Analysis in the Social Sector” project.

The goal of the project is to promote budgetary transparency, accountability, and public participation in the social support sector, particularly in the sub-sector of integration/reintegration of forcibly displaced persons from Nagorno-Karabakh. This is directly aligned with the program’s overall objective to ensure the analysis and monitoring of budgets in target sectors, as well as the development of simplified budgets.

The main objectives of the project are:

  • To conduct monitoring and analysis of the sectoral budget to identify the alignment of state policy and funding with the needs of the specified target groups.
  • To develop a simplified and publicly accessible budget (simplified budget) for the relevant sub-sector, ensuring increased awareness of the support for the integration/reintegration processes of the target groups.
  • To enhance public participation and influence for the targeted representation and resolution of issues faced by vulnerable groups.
