Development of “Civil Society” academic education module

Within the framework of the “STRIVE for a better future: communities and civil society resilience in Armenia” project, co-financed by the European Union, “NGO Center” Civil Society Development NGO serves as a service provider for the development of the ‘Civil Society’ academic education module.

The goal of the project is to increase the sustainability of civil society and raise public awareness about CSOs in the long term perspectiveby collaborating with higher education institutions to develop and introduce differentiated curriculum modules.

Project Activities:

• Conduct research and select partner higher education institutions (HEIs).

• Develop academic modules in four thematic areas by the project’s expert team.

• Implement the educational modules in universities and train teaching staff.

• Test the modules.

“Development of “Civil Society” academic education module” project is implemented by “NGO Center” civil society development NGO, within the framework of “STRIVE for a better future: communities and civil society resilience in Armenia” program co-funded by the European Union and implemented by NEF Belgium in partnership with “Agate Rights Defence Center for Women with Disabilities” NGO, “BLEJAN ecological, social, business support” NGO, “Youth Cooperation Center of Dilijan” NGO and “WINNET Goris” Development Foundation.
