On August 27, the NGO Center organized a focus group discussion within the framework of the project “Unlocking Progress: Reflecting on the Vanadzor and Gyumri OGP Action Plan”.
The discussion brought together representatives of local self-government bodies, civil society organizations, and active citizens.
The aim of the discussion was to assess the implementation progress of the commitments undertaken by Vanadzor and Gyumri communities within the Open Government Partnership (OGP) Local Action Plans, as well as to collect recommendations for the co-creation of the next action plan.
Participants shared their observations on the effectiveness, transparency, and accountability of the current action plans. The discussion also addressed mechanisms that can ensure broader public participation and multi-stakeholder collaboration at the local level.
“Unlocking Progress: Reflecting on the Vanadzor and Gyumri OGP Action Plan” is implemented by the NGO Center Civil Society Development NGO with the support of the Open Government Partnership (OGP) and with funding from the European Union.
