Trainings for Youth, Teachers and CSO representatives Based on TUD Dresden University of Technology Training Materials

In May 2025, the “NGO Center” Civil Society Development NGO organized a series of in-house multiplication trainings within the framework of the “DeSIRe” project.
The purpose of the trainings was to develop the soft skills of young people, teachers, and civil society representatives, which are essential for the modern labor market and community development.
The sessions were facilitated by experienced professionals Arpine Hakobyan and Syuzan Hovsepyan.

The trainings covered four main thematic areas:

  1. Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (Module 2)
  2. Essential Entrepreneurial Skills: Initiative and Proactivity (Module 3)
  3. Effective Business Communication and Negotiation Skills (MOOC 1)
  4. Understanding and Developing Organizational Culture (MOOC 2)

Over the course of four days, eight interactive sessions were held with the participation of more than 200 participants. The trainings combined theoretical knowledge with practical exercises, group discussions, and role-playing activities, ensuring immediate applicability.
Participants acquired essential skills for creating inclusive environments, effective communication and negotiation, as well as competencies in developing organizational culture and addressing community challenges through social entrepreneurship.

The sessions employed non-formal education methods such as interactive presentations, group work, practical exercises, and the study of international best practices.

Participants emphasized that the trainings not only enhanced their knowledge but also provided tools they are ready to apply in their work, studies, and community activities. Many expressed their willingness to initiate social entrepreneurship projects and inclusive education initiatives.
