Training on “Monitoring, evaluation and learning plan” (MEL plan) of the CapSLoc project

On April 27, a working session of team members of the “CapSLoc: Capacities for Sustained Locally-Led Development” project took place in Akhuryan community.

 

At the beginning of the meeting, Arpine Hakobyan, the president of NGO Center, welcomed the participants and noted that periodic meetings of partners are important, especially at the initial stage of the project.

 

Then Suzan Hovsepyan, the CapSLoc project deputy chief of party, presented the purpose of the meeting and emphasized that all members of the project team should be deeply involved in the processes provided by MEL plan from the very beginning. During the meeting, the involved expert Hasmik Tamamyan, who was responsible for the development of MEL plan, detailly presented it.

 

In the second part of the meeting, a discussion was held with the participation of the representatives of Akhuryan municipality and the CapSLoc project team, facilitated by the Urban Foundation for Sustainable Development (UFSD) team. They discussed important issues for the development of the “Citizenship index” tool and the data collection toolkit.
