Academic Module on Civil Society: Training Day 2

On February 11, the “Academic Modules on Civil Society” training course continued.

The second day of the training focused on the cooperation between civil society, state institutions, and the private sector. Arpine Hakobyan presented the main models of interaction among the three sectors, emphasizing the role and opportunities of CSOs in public policy development, social impact, and advocacy.

The discussion covered the mechanisms of cooperation between civil society and state institutions, the potential influence of CSOs on public policies, and the partnership formats with the private sector that contribute to the sustainable development of CSOs. Participants explored tools for public participation and advocacy, as well as the fundamentals of program management, which are essential for the effective functioning of CSOs.

The training was organized by “NGO Center” Civil Society Development NGO within the framework of the “Civil Society” academic education module component of the “STRIVE for a Better Future: Communities and Civil Society Resilience in Armenia” program.
