Communication and public relations are crucial components for the effective operation of civil society organizations (CSOs). This week, over 100 representatives of CSOs operating in Armenia participated in an online course on developing public relations skills, organized by the NGO Center.
The main goal of the course was to help CSOs understand the importance of public relations processes, enhance their skills, and provide practical mechanisms that support the organization of effective communication.
During the course, Vahe Khachikyan, the Public Relations Manager at the NGO Center, presented the key principles of public relations, the process, and the mechanisms of organizing them. Participants had the opportunity to deepen their knowledge and acquire practical skills through hands-on tasks and discussions.
Special focus was given to the following topics:
- How to formulate and deliver key messages to target audiences.
- How to strengthen the effectiveness of public relations.
- How to organize a public relations campaign.
At the end of the course, participants had the opportunity to apply for consulting on the development of public relations and communication procedures. This step will allow CSOs to make their communication processes more structured and effective, ensuring sustainable public engagement.
