Since March 2022 GIZ Armenia has started implementation of new regional programme “Strengthening Civil Society in the Eastern Partnership (EaP) Countries”. The programme supports civil society in the EU-associated and transition states in their contribution to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
The goal of the programme is to strengthen civil society organizations (CSO) in EaP countries working for sustainable and inclusive local development. To achieve the goal GIZ works in 3 directions:
Objective 1. Strengthening institutional capacities of local CSOs in EaP Countries.
Objective 2 Promoting regional exchange and learning between CSOs in EaP Countries.
Objective 3. Supporting implementation of pilot measures (grant projects) in the field of sustainable and inclusive local development in the regions.
Participating Countries: Armenia, Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine
Timeframe: 2022 – 2024
Programme beneficiaries: CSOs (including non-formal/initiative groups) operating in the regions of Armenia will have the chance to develop institutional capacities, contribute to and from different experience exchange and learning formats with other organisations from Armenia and EaP countries as well as implement different initiatives at local level.
In this context, GIZ cordially invites civil society organizations (NGOs, foundations, initiative groups) that are interested to develop their internal and external capacities, receive support for development of strategic documents for better operation and sustainability of their organizations, participate in experience exchange and learning events and implement interesting projects in communities, thus promoting sustainable and inclusive local development, to send a letter of interest for participation in this programme.
Please send your Letter of interest with the filled in application form (below) in Armenian or English to the following e-mail address: email@example.com
