The process of involving and implementing the Academic Module on Civil Society in educational institutions is ongoing.

On April 15, an online discussion was held on the implementation of the “Civil Society” academic modules in educational institutions. More than 20 representatives from seven educational institutions operating in various communities across Armenia participated in the discussion. In the first part of the meeting, Arpine Hakobyan, President of NGO Center, welcomed the participants and presented the actions previously undertaken, including the development of the module and the training of trainers.

Representatives of STRIVE project partner organizations also delivered welcoming remarks, emphasizing the importance of developing and implementing the module as a key component in the development of civil society.

In the second part of the meeting, an open discussion was held with the participation of university and college representatives. They presented the prospects for implementing the module in their institutions, as well as the pilot teaching activities carried out thus far. In the coming period, pilot teaching processes will be conducted in partner educational institutions, after which the module will be integrated into educational programs, either as a standalone subject or as part of an existing curriculum.
