Operation field: Funding advocacy initiatives of non governmental organizations, provision of grants, management and monitoring of grant projects.
PROJECT ACTIVITIES
During 2005 – 2009 NGO Center awarded 44 advocacy grants to NGOs operating in Lori, Shirak and Tavush regions to support their advocacy initiatives.
Awarded grants 2006-2009
During 2006 – 2009 NGO Center provided grants to different organizations of Lori, Shirak and Tavush regions:
- 43 grants for advocacy initiatives
- 16 grants for election initiatives
The implemented advocacy initiatives were as follows:
- 20 projects – application of law/decision
- 9 projects – adoption of new decision
- 2 projects – change of decision
- 1 project- monitoring of law
